Bone and pearl give you the whitish flash most shad and inshore baitfish throw as the light hits them, in an opaque body that holds a clean outline. That makes it versatile: it works in clear, calm water where fish hunt by sight, and its visibility carries it through low light, overcast, and lightly stained water too. Fish it over sand and grass when a natural white profile is what's getting bit.
